Course Evaluation

During the fall of 1968, administrators, students, and faculty members at Kansas State University contributed to a lively debate about the purpose of a “student rating of instruction” program. As a result, the IDEA (Individual Development and Educational Assessment) system was created. IDEA serves as a national tool for both evaluating teaching effectiveness and providing guidance to instructors for improving student success. For more information see: http://www.idea.ksu.edu.

The goal today is to examine an IDEA evaluation form and to use the form to anonymously evaluate Visual E&M and your instructor. See Figure 1.
